Sharlene Cheetham
Sharlene Cheetham is a self-taught artist who favours acrylic and works with mixed media. She grew up a Toowoomba local and now resides in a little coastal town in central Queensland. Sharlene’s paintings are humble and unpretentious, full of character and bursting with narrative. Her work exudes playfulness; with a love for bold colour, texture and expressive shapes. She most enjoys creating in layers: Each step showing depth and dimension, much like the artist herself. Although she’s what some might call a late bloomer, Sharlene has taken up her pursuit of art with gusto, and now has an impressive body of work, many paintings of which grace the walls of homes much like her own (full of love!)
