Nerida Woolley

Nerida's work reflects her strong connection to the landscape of the beautiful Northern Rivers region of NSW, Australia, where she was born and raised.  

She was a finalist in the 2021 Ravenswood Australian Women's Art Prize and a semi-finalist in the BAM (Byron Arts Magazine) Art Prize 2020.

Having originally studied Agribusiness at the University of Queensland (Gatton College) and later Communications at Charles Sturt University (Bathurst), Nerida returned to painting after a long (25 + year) hiatus, graduating in 2019 with a Diploma of Visual Arts from Lismore Tafe. As an emerging artist she loves exploring all mediums and genres but is currently enjoying painting a variety of local rural scenes in oils. 

 Nerida lives and works out of her studio on a macadamia farm just outside of Alstonville, Northern Rivers, with her husband and children, dog Max and horse Ella.
