Nev Logan

Nev has had no formal art education but has studied under many well known Australian
watercolourists, in particular David Taylor and Alvaro Castagnet. Although Nev paints most subjects; Street scenes, Townscapes and Harbour scenes are amongst his favourites. Nev loves to travel and this is reflected in many of his paintings which feature overseas subjects.

Nev has been a member of the Watercolour Society since 1992 and a Life Member since 2007. He isa past President, Vice President and Treasurer of the Society. He is also President of the QueenslandArt Collective, and is a member of the Bryan Memorial Gallery in Jeffersonville ,USA. His work maybe seen on his website “www.nevloganart.com.au” and in Brisbane at the Red Hill Gallery and in
regular exhibitions with the Queensland Art Collective, The Watercolour Society and the Western suburbs Painting Group which he formed in 2011; and in two galleries in Jeffersonville ,Vermont.

Nev had his first major solo exhibition in August 1998. He has won many awards for Watercolours including First Prize for Watercolour in the RNA Exhibition in Brisbane. He regularly exhibits and receives prizes in Art Exhibitions through out Eastern Australia. In 2006 he was one of two feature
Artists at the Toowoomba Grammar School Annual Art Show, and in November 2007 was a FeatureArtist at the Rotary Club of Portland ( Victoria ) Annual Art Show.
