Pauline Good

Pauline Good joined the  Gladstone Art Group in 2000 painting in several mediums. Three years later, after moving to the Sunshine Coast, she became a member of a watercolour art group under the tutorage of landscape painter Tony Lewis. Via the Watercolour Society of Queensland, of which Pauline is a member, she completed several workshops with respected Australian artists. In 2008 she attended a residential watercolour art course in England and during 2013 she participated in a week-long en plein air workshop in South Australia's Flinders Ranges.

"I particularly enjoy painting landscapes and seascapes. I find inspiration in the amazing diversity and beautiful vistas of the Australian countryside. My aim is to capture the colour, light and atmosphere of back roads, old buildings, bars and trees. I love walking along beaches with the feeling of space and peace, and I try and convey this feeling in my paintings. Especially I love painting plein air so I take my paints and brushes with me on my world-wide travels. The small sketches I make become very precious reminders of places in time."
