Louis Dalozzo
Louis Dalozzo, born in Italy, married Belgian artist Lucette and
together they embarked on a journey to find "somewhere
untouched." Leaving the bustling cities of Western Europe, they
travelled to New Caledonia, painting the island's tropical
landscapes. Their search for inspiration eventually led them to
Australia, where Louis was captivated by the vast deserts,
canyons, gorges, and rainforests. This awe-inspiring landscape
reignited his childhood passion for painting, leading him to focus on
capturing the essence of the Australian outback.
For over 30 years, Louis has been painting professionally, with his works exhibited in Australia, Belgium, Los Angeles, and New Caledonia. His unique self-taught style, which conveys the mood and feel of the rugged outback, has earned him acclaim from both corporate and private collectors worldwide. Louis's landscapes, characterized by intense colours, defined contours, and unparalleled visual perspective, reflect the timeless beauty of the Australian outback. His work can be found in prestigious collections, including Brisbane's Tattersall Club, The Design Centre in LA, and offices of corporate giants like American Express and Mercedes Benz.
