Madeleine McKinlay

Throughout my life, I have painted people, places, and nature – sometimes in more detailed, realistic study, and in many cases in more loose, imaginative interpretations – always featuring bright and bold colours. In more recent times, my paintings have been based on bright interpretations of the Australian landscape, inspired by imagery of family adventures.
My background is rather varied with a degree in graphic design, I started my first career as a designer. Then I moved into marketing which took me into the world of banking and finance which spanned many years across diverse areas including product, project management, IT and executive management, before stepping away from the corporate world to start a family.
Throughout these corporate years, I used painting and drawing as my creative outlet.
I have been painting professionally since 2018 and launched my own website in 2022. My
artworks have been sold throughout Australia and internationally.
