Roslyn Cranch

Ros is a self taught artist and really got into painting seriously in Roma where she painted
many scenes of the surrounding environment including several in the Carnarvon Gorge.
Eventually, Ros’s love of old Queenslander houses came to the fore and she began painting
images of houses from around the Red Hill, Paddington area which she was familiar with.
Since coming to live here in Toowoomba in 2001, she has painted some of Toowoomba’s
own distinctive style of old houses.
She is also interested in people and their many facets and has started to paint those which
stand out to her as typical of that group.
