I am intrigued with the relationship I have with the beginning and the process to arrive at the end of an art piece. Using ink, acrylic, paper and collage to create the vessel that represents a moment of nature, coupled with a tranquil interplay of colour and washes: my work is a gentle response to Abstract Expressionism.
My paintings test the boundaries of delayed gratification, I begin knowing of the gratitude I will feel at the end. It is the process of capturing movement that is emotional for me.
I hope my work evokes a connection of stillness and peace to my viewers
