There’s nothing still about my life. That’s the irony in my work.
A relentless search for calm in the chaos. Minimising the mess and
compartmentalising my world. Since entering motherhood I’ve found solace in
art.
Finding myself again after kids and mourning a life past, my work is about
acceptance. It’s about sitting and taking time to notice form and light and shade.
Noticing the simple curves and lines and how each item relates to its neighbour.
Appreciating the item for its function or beauty or both.
