Vivienne Heckels
My work is always evolving wherever my imagination takes me. Once I painted works that were very realistic but that changed when I did a work of children flying through the air flying kites. That work immediately sold . An I laughed and laughed and said to GOD you mean I can paint beautiful , joyful works like a child and they are good. And so began my creative works using my imagination. Now I use left over paint on my studio floor to paint an evolving imaginative painting filled with birds , fish , helicopters and so on it grows.Several things that are worth mentioning in my art career.1: My drought series of works were selected to be exhibited in Canberra as part of the rural Crisis Operational Heartland display.2: Later they were exhibited in Toowoomba Art Gallery3: one year I was the feature artist for the Grammar Art Show where all the works sold.4: This year my work was selected as a finalist in a Sydney Art Competition to be held later this year.5: At the moment three of my works are being displayed in My Art Gallery Toowoomba.
