Retiring to Toowoomba in 2023 I found myself back where I started as a child with paint and time on my hands. 

I trained as an art teacher in the 70's and my favourite mediums were anything that involved drawing and lots of colour. As well as working hard and raising a family and in our family business I spent the next years avoiding teaching and working with my hands in the garden, decorating retaining walls with mosaic and making my garden my happy place. Dabbling in my shed with whatever took my fancy. 

I paint now because I have to, I paint to escape, I paint to make a statement.
