Kylie Harries

Kylie Harries is a multidisciplinary artist farmer examining place through feminist mark-
making. Her research-led practice in women’s historical stories drives her selection of

media, from cyanotypes to print-making, as well as painting, environmental sculpture
and drawing. Kylie is currently exploring her matrilineal links to farming on the Darling
Downs, and incorporates images from her photographic archives to elevate women’s
stories and contributions to country life. Kylie was finalist in the 2023 Moreton Bay Art
Prize and a finalist in the 2024 Deakin University Contemporary Small Sculpture Award.
