Charmaine Searle

Charmaine is a Toowoomba based Artist/Maker, formally trained as a Jeweller and
Ceramicist. She studied Ceramics at the Casey Institute of TAFE (Vic), then studied at the
Queensland College of Art, majoring in Gold and Silversmithing before completing a
jewellery apprenticeship.
After a lengthy period of time focusing on raising her family, she has recently reignited her
passion for the painting process, in both watercolour and oils. New projects coming up for
her include mixing the mediums she is already familiar with in her first solo exhibition of
paintings and wearable art.
