Carol McCormack

I have lived and worked in country Queensland most of my life. I trained as an artist with Mervyn Moriarty in the early years of Flying Arts Inc, and have worked with a variety of excellent tutors over the years.

I’ve now retired from the station and community work that pushed my paints aside and live in a new landscape predominated by soft greens and blues, contrasting with the reds and ochres of my former views.

I also pay more attention to interiors and am working on a series of still life works based on objects in my own house and friends’ that evoke memories.
