Jane Henry

Spending most of her time now living and working on a cattle property at Texas, Southern Queensland, Jane Henry is an artist who enjoys blending various mediums, recently including fibre & paper arts. Jane is constantly extending the capabilities of stitching on paper with natural fibres. Her love of the bush is conveyed by her frequent use of Australian native flora in her artworks.
These recent intricate artworks of stitched deconstructed banksia & eucalypt combine Jane’s love of Australian native flora as well as paying homage to her mother & grandmothers who passed down the skill and appreciation of slow needlework.
