Emily Raubenheimer is a painter based in the small country town of Redesdale in rural Victoria. Working from her bush studio, she draws inspiration from native flora and the shifting colours of the surrounding landscape. Her paintings celebrate fluid lines, playful energy and vibrant colour, often built up in layers that echo the environment around her. Central to her practice is the rhythm of daily life, with many works depicting scenes from around the home, each referencing the outdoors in some way.
Emily studied Fine Arts Painting at Monash University and has taught Art for over 17 years. She is the co founder of The Artists’ Guild for women in the arts and was the creative director and designer of Bubba West Magazine from 2013 to 2017. She is currently represented by Jumbled in NSW.
