Anna Blatman is a professional Australian artist born in1965. For over 27 years she has worked from her own studio and gallery, creating vibrant, expressive artworks that celebrate colour, harmony and joy. Her practice is driven by a lifelong passion for bold colour palettes, and she is dedicated to inspiring emerging artists to embrace their individuality and artistic voice.
Anna’s work is highly regarded across Australia and internationally. She supplies original paintings to galleries and retail stores, and her print collections through Artist Lane have been sold globally for more than twelve years, including throughout the UK. Her artwork is licensed across a range of products, and she takes great pride in seeing her imagery beautifully applied in commercial contexts.
She has been featured on The Block for many years and enjoys collaborating with the production team. Anna also has a signature wallpaper range with Grafico, reflecting her love for translating her art into large-scale interiors.
In 2021, Anna contributed a Uoo Uoo sculpture to the Royal Children’s Hospital Art Trail initiative, an experience she describes as an honour and a highlight of her career. Alongside her studio practice, she teaches adult art classes each Thursday and Friday from her gallery, sharing her knowledge and passion with students of all levels.
In 2024, Anna collaborated with Officeworks as their OTTO Artist, adding another exciting project to her creative journey. Over the years she has completed notable private commissions, including works for Ron Walker and a special commission gifted to former Prime Minister John Howard.
