Lara Scolari is a contemporary Australian painter based in Balmain, Sydney. Working primarily within Abstract Expressionism, her practice explores energy, movement and emotional resonance through layered, gestural compositions. Her work is informed by memory, meditation, music and the Australian landscape, creating immersive fields of colour and form that invite contemplation. Scolari holds a Master’s in Cross-Disciplinary Art & Design (UNSW) and has exhibited widely in solo and group shows across Australia and internationally. Her paintings are collected in private, public and interior design collections.
