Collection: Amanda Holman
Amanda Holman is an emerging artist based in Central West NSW.
A change to country life has provided more time for Amanda to observe the beautiful colours and seasonal changes within the natural and rural landscapes. In her landscape artworks she seeks to capture the compelling Australian light and peaceful ambience reminiscent of early Australian Impressionism.
More recently, a fascination with light and form has motivated Amanda to diversify into more figurative artworks and portraiture.
Amanda has successfully exhibited in a number of prominent group exhibitions in Orange, Blayney, Moree, Tamworth, Brisbane, Cowra and Sydney as well as a significant solo exhibition at the Corner Store Gallery in Orange NSW during April 2024.
In addition to these exhibitions, Amanda has been a finalist in: the Corner Store Gallery’s Landscape prize (2022/24); Mudgee Arts Precinct (MAP)’s Portrait Prize 2022/24; the Hunters Hill art prize (2022/23/24); the Lethbridge Small Works art prize (2023); and the Central Belonging Art Award (2025), among others, as well as being awarded winner of the Cabonne Acquisitive Art Prize in 2021, and a Highly Commended Award in the Lachlan Valley Biennial Art Prize 2023 and Moree Portrait prize 2025.
