Kate is a Perth based contemporary artist who is unashamedly in love with flowers. Her style embraces elements of both still life and abstract in her signature Flower Fields semi-abstract works. Using both native and exotic florals as inspiration, she combines geometric backgrounds with flowers, interweaving the two together with unique colour palettes and describing the process as like solving a puzzle. Kate seeks a sense of balance in her painting, wanting it to evoke joy and energy while still feeling peaceful and cohesive. Since 2024 she has worked as a full time artist from her home studio, exhibiting in galleries around Australia, hosting workshops and sharing her passion for the arts.
