Thea-Bella Taylor

Thea is a 13 year old, self-funded, emerging Australian artist. She is home-schooled so she can focus on her passion while learning the skills to succeed with Dyslexia. Her artworks centre on the themes of conservation and ecology. In 2020, Thea was a finalist for the Young Archie and received Highly Commended for the Holmes Junior Art Prize for Realistic Bird Art. In 2021, she held her first, highly successful solo exhibition at the Latrobe Art Space, Brisbane. Thea is inspired by the work of early natural history illustrators such as John Gould and the later work of William T Cooper and Greg Postle.  Her bespoke cards and linen textiles are stocked in select stores in Brisbane and beyond.
