I’m a young emerging artist, currently studying a Bachelor of Fine Art (Visual Art) at Queensland University of Technology. I strive to one day achieve a career in Freelance Illustration.
I have always been fascinated by experimentation of both medium and subject matter within art, always cautious to never become too comfortable with one technique. I do however particularly enjoy the medium of ink pen and watercolour, the simultaneous softness or vividity you can achieve particularly intriguing me.
Growing up on both the coasts of Cornwall, England and Hervey Bay, Queensland, I have always maintained a meaningful connection to the coastal landscape. Having forever shared this passion for nature and its abundant beauty, I aim to portray such beautiful scenery in my work.
Moving to Toowoomba in 2018 however, I was enlightened by the equally stunning natural charm of the rural landscape. I have since aimed to explore both the cool coastal scenery, and the rich, vibrant warmth of the inland Australian landscape, capturing fleeting moments that convey their staggering savage beauty.
