Georgie is a Brisbane-based artist, inspired by her experiences living along our rugged, wild coastline. Her work is a celebration of our uniquely Australian flora, sunlight, and the landscape of our beautiful country.
Georgie creates work that hopes to inject warmth and joy into spaces - an artistic practice rooted in her University studies and industry experience in art history and Architecture (Bachelor of Design, and Masters of Architecture). Her experience working in architecture and interior design, as well as exhibition design at QAGOMA, strengthened her love for art and design, and the role art plays in enhancing our internal spaces.
She harbours a sparkling little hope that her work invokes a sense of the preciousness of our natural surroundings, and reinforces the connection between our internal worlds, and our natural world.
