Emily Brett

My name is Emily Brett, my husband and I own and operate a watermelon and cattle property north  east of Chinchilla. I have always enjoyed painting and sculpture for as long as I can remember.  Unfortunately I never pursued my passion until I was stuck on a farm with three children under three  desperately needing an outlet.  

I love painting especially using oil paint , but about 5 years ago I tried painting and messing around  with resin. I was hooked !!! The colours that you can get from adding paint or tints with resin  created some of the most beautiful methods to make the colour come alive . I especially love  incorporating timber with resin as they go so well together. So here I  am working full time on a  watermelon and cattle property with my husband ,with three kids and I couldn’t survive without my  creative outlet.
